Music: January 31 2011: Krisie Snowdrop

Krisie Snowdrop
solid voice, mixture of genres

"Country, Jazz. Oldies . Pop and Rock"

Live Music with Krisie Snowdrop at Twilight Live on January 31 2011

From: Canada

Songs: first one I heard, after arriving half way through the concert, was a uptempo dance number. Not bad. Then a switch to a country song, Redneck Woman by Gretchen Wilson (hehe - she pronounced raising the same way Gretchen did - raisin). Then an '80s song (whichever one has "She has Betty Davis eyes" in it). "Mamma Mia". Last song slower song. Not sure of genre.
So . . I heard five of her songs (well, five covers).

Vague rating:
song choice: a broad mix of songs
Voice: 8/10
Entertainment: 8/10

I'm not sure about my ratings. I need to listen to more of her work. This is, I think, the first time I've heard her sing. She got a full point boost in the voice category due to one of the last songs (that was the next to last song that boosted rating, last song kept it up). I need to hear more than 15 minutes. heh.
